About Me

I’m Dr. Joshua Berlat, a board-certified physician with over a decade of experience treating orthopedic injuries and musculoskeletal pain. After graduating from the University of Virginia School of Medicine in 2015, I completed my residency in Emergency Medicine at Maine Medical Center in 2018. Since moving to Boise, I’ve cared for thousands of patients in the acute care setting.

I founded my practice in downtown Boise to offer something different: fast access, flexible scheduling, and personalized care for active adults and athletes who want to get back to the activities they love—without surgery when possible. My focus is on using point-of-care ultrasound and advanced orthobiologic treatments like platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections to promote natural healing.

When I'm not in the clinic, you'll find me somewhere out in the foothills running, skiing, biking and staying active in the outdoors. Like many outdoor athletes, I've had my share of both serious injuries and nagging ones that just won't quit. I understand firsthand how important movement is to quality of life, and I’m passionate about helping you move without pain.
